Professional Software Celebrates Thirty Years of Business

In 1983, Ronald Reagan was president, Microsoft introduced their first Windows version and the movie “War Games” gave us all a 1983 version of technology. At the time there were more than 10 million computers in use in the United States and that number would triple in just 3 years. Apple was a year away from introducing the Macintosh. There were no cell phones or cordless phones and the World Wide Web was still 7 years into the future. And thirty years ago in January of 1983, Doug Jenkins decided to start a computer software company called Professional Software.
